Budget camera with zoom. It only has a 2.2x zoom and a low megapixel count(by todays standards) but it is capable of taking very pleasing colourful shots and would make an ideal beginners'Point and Shoot'
Hilary's conclusion: You can buy more megapixels for this sort of money, but if you only ever need good quality postcard size shots this may fit the bill.
