Canon Ixus 65

Guide price: £300.00

6 megapixel 3x optical zoom digital camera. Innovative and ultra compact with a 3" high resolution screen (with widescreen image recording) 16 shooting modes, 30fps movie recording and a very interesting "Touch Control Dial" for very easy access to key functions and fast scrolling of images on playback. This camera features the DIGIC 11 + iSAPS (Canon's digital camera technology) image processor for accurate exposures and white balance, along with 16 built-in "Scene Modes" to enable you to get perfect shots in tricky lighting conditions, such as 'Beach' and
'Night Portrait' and it all works very well. The pictures this camera produces are colourful, sharp and are free from noise.

Hilary's conclusion: This camera won the 2006 TIPA award for "Best ultra compact digital camera" so if you can afford it(and it is very expensive), it really is a winner!
