Kodak EasyShare V705

Kodak EasyShare V705 super review and best buy

Guide price: £269.00

Ultra-Compact 7.1 megapixel digital camera with ultra-wide angle 5x zoom.

This camera is a little gem, it's small and stylish and packs an incredible twin lens set-up and 7.1 megapixels. Start up is quick as the lenses do not protude from the camera, so it is ready for action quickly. You can either leave the camera in Auto mode or choose from a myriad of scene modes (all optimized for the relevant conditions)Such as 'Portrait', ''Macro', 'Landscape','Snow', 'Beach' and'Museum' to quote just a few.
The great thing about this camera is you can leave it in Auto mode , but you can also choose a low ISO(ISO 64) for ultimate quality pictures (very low noise), apply the amount of sharpening you want, change the megapixel size, alter the white balance and choose between natural colour or vivid.

This camera has a superb camcorder facility(with sound) and movies are only limited by the size of your sd card and the zoom works in this mode as well! brilliant! and it produces great TV quality films.
So if you are looking for a really great dual-purpose digital camera this must be on your shopping list! The images this camera produces are detailed and incredibly natural looking and print out well at even quite large sizes.

In conclusion an excellent choice for anyone- and I mean anyone(young, old, beginner or expert photographer)who wants a compact, attractive ultra-wide angle lens enabled digital camera with a high megapixel count.
My only small reservation- If only it also offered an ''Anti-Shake'solution instead of just a warning, this camera would have had a '5' rating in features as well as 'Ease of Use' and 'Value for Money' it really is that good.

Features that make it really special: Quality build in metal(no plastic!) Lovely 'Retro' styling, dual high-quality Schneider-Kreuznach C-Varigon lenses, very clear, large screen(2.5"), loads of scene modes (22), auto picture orientation, fantastic camcorder facility (Quicktime MPEG 4), 'undo delete' feature, 32MB of internal memory and Kodak's (inbuilt) superb photo-enhancing 'Perfect Touch Technology' which reveals more shadow detail and further boosts and brightens colours.

Now available in a very fetching pink and silver!

Memory card Type: SD
