LG KU990 Viewty

LG KU990 Viewty super review and best buy

Guide price: £350.00

Compact, touchscreen enabled mobile with a 5 megapixel camera. To be perfectly honest when I first got this phone I was disappointed, I had just been reviewing the iPod Touch and so was use to the incredible 'Touch screen' technology used on that model. The Viewty also features a touch screen, but it is not in the same league as the iPod. Now you would think that this all sounds very negative against the LG, but it isn't I have now accepted that the LG is different and actually incredibly good at what it does and can do. The touch screen really isn't as responsive as the iPod, but it still works very well and features finger stroke scrolling and quick selection without the use of the included scribe, plus 'Haptic' vibration feedback on selection. There is a very nice crisp, 3" screen and in widescreen mode it blows most other mobiles away! Photos and movies look really good and the playback is completely stutter/lag free with great colour.
As to what this mobile is capable of doing, it would be easier to tell you what it can't and that's not a lot! Every feature is on this phone, with the exception of WiFi!
