Motorola SLVR Review

Motorola SLVR

Guide price: £149.99

Very attractive slim mobile phone with a large screen and lots of features.
It is reasonably light, but feels well made and solid, with its metal body and acid etched keypad (backlit with cool blue light) it certainly looks different.

Good points: Light(96g) but quality build, battery life, looks, Bluetooth, memory card slot, and the VGA camera. (which takes really quite good pics.)

Not so good points:handbook poor at explaining how to use the 'phone fully! and rather over complicated with lots of button pressing and scrolling for saving photos and settings. The screen is very hard to see in bright sunshine, gets greasy and grubby easily and is very prone to scratches.

Hilary's conclusion: Thin and stylish but the operating system is not as easy to use as it could be, and the manual does not explain how to use the functions fully, and there is not an adequate 'troubleshooting' section. Motorola you really need to address these issues!

Network: Virgin Mobile/Vodaphone/O2/T-Mobile/Orange
