Apple iPod Shuffle

Guide price: £80.00

Chewing gum packet sized 1GB mp3 player. Very easy to use, incredibly light it weighs less than a couple of car keys! (.78 ounce) and gives superb full range sound. The lanyard (included) for wearing round your neck has a clip on cover that reveals the USB connector and once plugged into a free port on your computer charges the internal battery, and allows the autofilling of your songs from the iTunes music library. (Dragging and dropping of songs is also supported)

The shuffle has a simple circular control wheel with a play/pause button in the middle and volume, fast forward/backward. On the back is the battery check light ( which changes from green to amber and then red, after 9-12 hours use) and a slider which controls how songs are played (random((Shuffle)) or in order) and 'off'.

Hilary's conclusion: A great choice for someone who enjoys sport (unaffected by movement) and/or someone who wants minimal controls, but enjoys their music!
