Creative Zen Mozaic
Guide price: £49.99
Tiny, mp3, mp4 player. When you first get to touch this little player you are immediately disappointed, because it is made out of the cheapest plastic, and has squishy, long travel, nasty feeling keys (the actual menu system is very easy to use but not as attractive as the Apple iPod GUI), but stick with it because it has real surprises to come!. After initial charging (3 hours) which is accomplished via a mini USB socket (very good!) you fire the player up, by a small side switch and this is where things start to get better! for the screen is bright a reasonable size and also of a good enough resolution to view photos and videos on. The next surprise is that this little player actual sports speakers! A built in microphone and the ability to record voice memos and wait for, it an FM radio! All in all for such a diminutive little chap, this player has all the extras you have to add on to an equivalent iPod and this is where the purchase of the Mozaic makes sense and represents very good value for money.
Special Features:
Built-in speaker.
Available in black, silver or pink.
2GB, 4GB, 8GB or 16GB storage capacities.
Bright 1.8-inch colour screen.
Includes FM radio and voice recorder.
Hilary's Conclusion: Nasty plastic casing, but extremely well specified and capable player. A very good all-rounder with the built in speaker and voice recorder being the stand out features. You will enjoy this player for its abilities not its looks! |
