Kodak 5500 All-In-One

Kodak 5500 All-In-One super review and best buy

Guide price: £210.00

Large All-In-One Printer with scanning, copying, photo printing and faxing abilities. This printer is huge & very heavy and does take up rather a lot of space, it is also not unattractive (for a multifunction printer) with it's off-white & silver livery with yellow strips. Don't expect to be able to shove it to one corner of your desk, because it needs a dedicated substantial perch and it also needs to be near a phone point for the fax. You do not want to have to keep moving this lump! The power supply is also a very large black brick! On the positive side, once installed in position and fitted with the two cartridges it is simplicity itself to operate, has a lovely large, crisp, full colour screen and buttons have been kept to a minimum.
Firing the unit up is accompanied by various electronic beeps and other rather loud mechanical noises, but it is quick and once ready it is also quiet.

This printer is the flagship model of the range and has all the features you could possibly want on a small business printer, including full 'PC less' printing with its card slots, duplexing, document feeding, scanning, copying and borderless photo printing on all photo sizes, unlike the opposition!
This printer really suited me and my business needs, especially with its unsurpassed photo printing quality and the longevity of its prints. I have happily submitted prints to 'Amateur Photography magazine' from this printer, the quality and faithful colour reproduction is that good!

Hilary's Conclusion:
There is really nothing to touch this printer for the small business! If you enjoy printing out your digital photographs without any messing about involved this printer is for you! Highly recommended.
