Catch LG’s 102 inch Plasma Screen on its flying visit to the UK

This super sized screen, at the time of production the world’s first of its size, has been the cause for jams all along the pavement on Brompton road, as pedestrians are stopped in sheer amazement at its size. The enormous screen took eight men to lift and manoeuvre into position and is taking centre stage in the main windows at Harrods Knightsbridge. This awe-inspiring screen is currently on a whistle-stop world tour and will be on display at Harrods in its Brompton window until 29th May.

The art of achieving consistent colour and clarity across the entire screen has proved that this is a truly revolutionary product. LG has again demonstrated its innovative approach to technology through continually pushing the boundaries. Offering full true HD resolution at 1920 x 1080, LG’s stunning 102” plasma also has a contrast ratio of 5000:1 which will be brought to life through an HD feed to show case the fantastic picture quality. Still a prototype, there are no current plans to launch this product commercially.
