London, 23 June 2006 – LG Mobile (LG) announces the launch of the U300, the latest addition to LG’s family of 3G handsets. In addition to black, the LG U300 will be available in the UK in two other vibrant colours: chameleon and orange.

With its compact clamshell design, the LG U300 boasts an array of easy to use features. For capturing clearer, sharper, summer snaps the handset offers a rotating 1.3 Megapixel camera with all photos presented beautifully on the crystal clear 2” colour display.

Music lovers can download their favourite music tracks from a constantly updated list of tunes from 3’s Music Store, and can store extra content on the 128MB Micro SD card included with the handset. The latest Stereo Bluetooth TM feature will also be a hit with music enthusiasts who will now be able to enjoy streaming their favourite tunes from the handset, through to wireless headphones, thanks to the introduction of Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) technology.

The video calling capability allows face-to-face visual, as well as audio communication and can be used in a number of situations - from calling friends from a fabulous party to show them what they are missing, to showing your envious mates the goal they just missed at the World Cup.
