If London Fashion Week didn’t prove it, it’s now official: no beauty is complete without her geek! Geek Squad agents were spotted last month behind the scenes at London Fashion Week, front row celebrities were touting their ‘must have’ slogan totes and now an uncanny likeness features in Mariah Carey’s music video for the single ‘Touch My Body’, bringing the geek centre stage.

The video opens with the geek car pulling up at Mariah’s house. A geek, modelled on a Geek Squad agent, introduces himself as ‘CompuNerd’, there to fix her computer. Not used to speaking the same language as beautiful girls, you can imagine the agent’s surprise when Mariah coos, “The download speed was killing me. Please tell me you updated to 802 dot 11 N.”

Mariah Carey isn’t the first celebrity to see in the inner beauty of the Geek, the Rolling Stones, U2, Police and Madonna have all taken Geek Squad agents on tour with them to ensure they didn’t suffer any tech meltdowns while on the road.
